Facing a tough opposition is a bit tricky for a semi-skilled player on any poker room. But it’s not impossible to play poker against great pros although some common things have to be kept in mind while going live with such great players. Some tactics that can be valuable for tackling skilled players:
• Self-belief –First of all you should have faith in your ability and skills while playing online poker. A pro can make you nervous but trust me that he is not going to expose you and he cannot see right through your spirit when you are trying to bluff. So don’t stop doing the things in which you are the best no matter who is in front of you.
• Small bets- If you consider that you opponent can run over in a no-limit game you must rely more on small bets. A pro always had a habit of having whale rather than a small fish and if he won’t get it he might throw the game.
• Moving down- If you feel that the game is becoming really hard for you than there is no embarrassment in giving up and leaving the table. It’s more of a fun to win a gigantic pot against weaker player than to loss against stars players.
